This is much better than attaching the GPS to the windshield. It stays put even on sharp turns and it stores out of sight very easily.

We have a saying here “like water for an elephant” which means a useless gesture. Loosely translated, it means a that there is a certain uselessness to give someone who is VERY poor anything – for the very reason that it will never be enough. The elephants in the wild travel in herds and are usually the first to suck a water hole dry. The metaphor is complete implying the uselessness of bringing a thirsty elephant a bucket of water, or several, to quench its thirst.

As soon as I saw the big top cover I was even more interested. I read once that when circus elephants arrived in a town, many kids would gather and offer to bring water to the elephant so it could drink and they may be rewarded with free tickets. Maybe this was it?? The figure of a man entering a Big top from the side flap, only to see a figure looking in from the main door struck me as if it were something I was not supposed to see. This was the beginning of a mezmerizing journey….

In post-depression America, Jacob Jankowski, a bound-for-glory, then displaced graduate student who tragically loses his parents, home and future in the first breath of the story, is our 23 year old hero that we instantly like and feel sorry for. He impulsively, almost accidentally, joins a circus, instantly realizing how destitute he is. Hard work, hideous living conditions, a life on the rails, BUT food…becomes his reality. In the world that he (and we) is new to, he is forced to see and witness more than meets the normal spectator’s eye. In no time we all face the reality of running a circus instead of watching one.

The screeching of brakes against rails; railcars stuffed with wild and exotic animals as well as straw, manure, closely knit sleeping quarters; townfolk (or Rubes) that come to the show; sensuality, sex, alcoholism; and Uncle Al, the Ringleader/owner/cheat/boss extrordinairre, are just for suckers! These are only the backdrop of a magnificent story. Interwoven is the love, the man, the compa

I moved to a house that had hardwood floors and thought a stick vacuum would work fine, but it only pushed the dog hair. I had this from my previous home and this worked great. It picks up hair, dirt and everything else. I will admit it’s bulky, but if you can get passed that i would definitely suggest picking one up.

On the whole it is a good package. I still find Word to be sometimes an infuriating piece of S/W when you are imbedding photos into text the insertion is often anything but graceful. If you insert a photo before clicking the enter key some 20 times or so it will just overlay the photo and cover up some previously placed images — drives me nuts as it is such a stupid mistake to have made when they wrote the S/W. Yeah, I know it takes MS about ten tries before it gets things right (e.g., Vista).

I bought this vacuum a couple of weeks ago at Wal-Mart and now realized I would have saved $30 by buying here. I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum! I owned a Black & Decker bagless upright, and it may have lasted 6 months. They need to stick to power tools. The power in this unit is very nice and the tools work well of course. The cord length is also impressive. The reason I bought a bagged unit over a bagless is simple- EASE. It seemed as though every other time I ran my bagless over my 1400 sq. ft. house I was emptying the canister which meant dust flying around the trash can and house. On top of that you needed to take out the filter and rinse it off each time. It will be a sad day if bagged vacuums go away, but for now- buy this unit.

If this thing was drag and drop and would remember my wifi pass key this would be perfect. But for the price and the problems I’m returning mine.

Plain and simple, this would be much better if not for the pain in the neck itunes software you are forced to use and its odd ways of working. If this was only drag and drop and itunes I would be keeping this player. The web browsing is great, except I often have to retype my network password way to often. And for good security it is long and messy.

The ipod wifi system is not “set it and forget it,” you will need to retype you pass word often and you will need to broadcast your wifi network which lowers your security. The ipod touch can not remember an un-broadcasted wifi system. Even my Wii can do that. Come on Apple. I thought you guys “were” the best. Even Microsoft can pull that one off.

If you have more then one computer as almost every one does, itunes will want to erase all you content on your ipod from your other computer/ itunes program on you ipod before you can add content from your second computer. Come one “Drag and Drop” guys not this junk. Even the simplist mp3 players can do that. I can go to Walmart and for $30 find a 8 gig mp3 player with video and fm tuner that knows how to drag and drop with ease. But not Apple, they are too sexy and wonderful to be so easy and basic.
