Hopefully my review will change once I get it working. But so far it won’t work. Evidently the power output on my computer’s USB port is not powerful enough to run this thing. I tried a couple USB power adapters from my mp3 players (one ipod, one not) and neither one worked. I’ll try other power adapters, like a powered usb hub. Maybe it will work, maybe not. There’s no power indicator on it to know if it should be working or not, so it’s hard to test it.

Artemis Fowl was the recipient of the accusation in the title of this review, but even though he is a thief, he is also much more. The twelve-year-old genius has decided to use his intelligence to pursue a life of crime, so we find an unusual situation. A story with an evil main character is not a completely new concept; Jean-Baptiste Grenouille in the outstanding “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” or Serge A. Storms in the series of books by Tim Dorsey come to mind. If we go into a different media, then Tony Soprano is one of the most famous examples in our time. What is novel though, is using this concept in a book targeted to young adults, and this is certainly a reason for controversy. I have to say though that the final product is so good, that the good aspects of this effort more than overcome this “drawback”.

Artemis Fowl descends from a prestigious family of billionaires that a few years ago suffered a reversal of fortune. His father has disappeared and is presumed dead and her mother has gone crazy with grief. Artemis is decided to return his family to where it is supposed to be and crafts a plan designed to do just this. To try to accomplish his goal, he uses the help of Butler, a mountain of a man, expert in combat, and who as his name suggests is Artemis’ butler, and Juliet, Butler’s sister. The plan involves kidnapping a fairy and then getting a ransom in gold, which is a lot harder than it sounds.

The story involves a myriad of creatures besides fairies, such as goblins, elves, dwarves, centaurs and trolls. These variety allows the author to create several characters within each one of these groups that are interesting, peculiar and endearing. But the creative process does not stop there, since the author uses some of these peculiar characteristics, as well as some acute comments to make us laugh us loud in the middle of the action. In my opinion the funniest scene in the book involved Mulch, a dwarf, and Butler, you will know what I am talking abou

Bought this friction mount as a quick purchase before vacation because I got sick of the suction rings on our windshield. I was a little sceptical at first but after taking the mount on well over 3000 miles of travel, my wife and I are very pleased with this mount. Not once did it slide, topple, move or anything. It stays put not matter if your turning, breaking, or just heading down the highway. Deffinitly worth the money for a stable GPS mount. We have a Garmin Nuvi 500W that fits perfect! The only downfall to this mount is the storage. We own a ‘07 Santa Fe that has a decent size center console that the mount fits in fine, however, it does take up a lot of room in there. Other then that SMALL factor this friction mount is the best on the market in my opinion! Even with the storage issue I would still rate this mount 5 out of 5 stars!

Just what we needed to be able to move the garman from one car to another.
A summit on science

I really enjoyed reading this book. I was hesitant at 1st, because the storyline seemed worn, but it was in my recommendations and I purchased it.

I can not wait for the next one!! She managed to make Zach very appealing and vulnerable while being a major jerk! I don’t beleive I can tell you about this book and make it sound good, I know that it didn’t for me, but I was desperate to read something, and I bought it. This one may even make my keeper shelf if the sequels are as good as I think they are going to be.

Try this one, it is worth full price!! I also just read Body Check, by Deidre Martin and it was a really fun read too!!!
Just the Way You

I actually made it through this book to the end despite all its faults. I’m astonished at how much positive hype this book has received. I might give it 2 stars for the compelling concept, if it had not received so many unwarranted 5 star reviews. The dialogue is cute to the point of trite, character depth and development is cardboard thin at best and placement of the book believably in its time and place is virtually non-existent. In an interview at the back of the book the author mentions being a technical writer for tech firms. This is clear in the brittle, if well intentioned characters.

I got this vacuum put together within minutes and plugged it in. After turning the vacuum on, I thought my carpet was going to rip up from the concrete. Works excellent. Great buy for the price.
Democracy and Green Political

I bought the card with a camera, works just as it should would buy again.
1 Wheel Handle Bak

I have to admit I enjoyed this book – the settings were very interesting, and the main character, Jacob, was very likable.

However, I was incredibly disappointed by the love story that takes center stage. If you’re looking for a book with a female lead you can root for, this is DEFINITELY not it. Marlena is the main star of the equestrian act and loves horses and for that – and that alone – you are supposed to love her.

The two of them – Jacob and Marlena – bond over their shared passion for animals (he’s the circus vet) and hiding from her crazy husband, but there is no real spark between them to latch onto as a reader, and their whole relationship leaves something to be desired. Actual chemistry, maybe?

In addition to that, the storyline is often incredibly contrived, to a point where by the end I couldn’t bring myself to buy into any of it anymore.

An amusing read, just the same, but I didn’t find it to be all it was cracked up to be.

I was a bit skeptical, but this an easy affordable option that had a wonderful outcome. The book got to me in three or four days, and was in really good condition. I look forward to my next purchase! (I got the book for less than half of what I would’ve paid retail… including shipping!) If you can wait a few days for your book, go this route!
