I am an HP fan and also enjoyed the Septium Heap series. If you enjoyed those books you will like this one. I am in my 20’s and I am on my 5th Artemis Fowl book right now. Once you start the series you will want to keep reading. They dont get repetative or boring each book is a whole new experience and always adds new characters.

Primary reason for purchase was for travel. We spend months at a time in the RV and it is nice not to haul the extra weight of books since we are avid readers. Very easy to browse, order, and download. And we can still highlight and bookmark passages we want to reread. We can still receive our Readers Digest and an added benefit of receiving our daily newspaper. There have been some complaints about the lack of pictures in the paper but we want the news so we are satisfied. Very easy to use and instructions are easy to understand. I truly appreciate the dictionary always being at hand. My only complaint is the “joy stick”. I have tremors and this is very small and sensitive to touch. I sometimes have to go foward and back before being able to highlight the item I need. Frustrating but not a big problem. Overall we are very satisfied. They came out with the latest upgrade a few days after we bought this. I understand the problem I mentioned has been improved.
The Life of Christopher

Let me tell you about myself first. I am not overly tech savy, this is the first electronic device that I have owned that is more advanced than my Motorola razr. The last music device I owned was a Discman with cassette adapter to play in my truck. I wanted something easy, fun, and versatile. I researched iPod Touch, Zune HD and a few others, but I always returned to the iPod. Yes, the price is higher than the others, and it is an Apple device if that makes you wary. This review is more about first time users/buyers of a device like this.

First, you will need a iTunes account. You will download and set this up prior to hooking up your iPod. If you have read the one star reviews and are nervous about this, so was I. I downloaded iTunes before my iPod arrived. Follow the instructions, and read all questions it asks you. If you want it to search for music on your computer, it will, and it will ask you if you want iTunes to be the default music player. I answered “no” to both of these questions. Eventually you will get to set-up the actual account at iTunes Store. YOU WILL BE ASKED FOR A CREDIT CARD NUMBER!! I recommend getting an iTunes gift card. I don’t know if I could have entered the gift card number and omitted the CC number but it would be worth trying. Also after entering the gift card, the running balance left on the card is always on your screen after signing in, and is a good way to budget your purchases. There are preferences that you can set up and select items you want iTunes to do or not do. Check them out.

Using iTunes is okay. I only have limited experience with another player (Real Player)so if there is something better I cannot say. It did take awhile to figure out playlists and some of the settings, but it works pretty well, now that I am used to it. If you are going to transfer a large amount of music to iTunes, be prepared for it to take some time, maybe a lot of time. I have an older Dell with XP and 2 gigs of RAM,so this may be
