You know the basics:
sounds great
looks nice
made by a control freak company

This review will deal with the 3rd.

The Ipod Touch is a great piece of hardware. Itunes is a terrible piece of bloatware and you’re forced to load it onto your computer if you want to use the Ipod. The Ipod won’t even turn on if you don’t have Itunes which also requires Quicktime, Bonjour, and at least 2 more software packages. Songbird is a far better music management package.

Want to use the famous apps? You’ll need an Apple account and you’ll have to go through.

5 stars as a portable music player, 1 star that it’s a Trojan horse designed to fill your computer with tons of crapware.

I’m keeping it but I’m buying an Android device next time.
