Seminar on the Need for Arms Management and Disarmament of Civil society, Huambo-Angola, April 2003

The seminar had the participation of different individualities government officials, NGO's, political parties, and churches and media personnel. The workshop had three objectives namely,

• Creation of auscultation and consultation processes with the communities (government, ONG's and civil society)
• Information and experience exchange in pursuing a national consensus and possible action

Encourage a national forum of constructive debate that can elaborate and strategize an adequate and sustainable intervention
