This book was a favorite of mine in my early childhood, and still holds together now. A truly fantastic world is created where magic and technology are blended together, and where both can be triumphed over by brainpower. Enjoyable by more than just children, Artemis Fowl is a truly excellent work of fiction.

I love my Touch. Its very hand and is great to check mail and the web. I love that I can listen to some video podcasts. I wish the Battery worked better. I need to test it to make sure the battery is good but it doesn’t seem to last as long is it should. Get yourself a good case. I bought one and am really dissapointed it way to loose and the back has gotten all scuffed up. It may cost you. Mine was about $15 from walmart but isn’t worth $4 in my opion since it doesn’t work well its works about as well as one you get for free. Read reviews and pay a little more. Unless you don’t care how the back looks or will resell in the future. Its still work the price though because it will protect your ipod in case its droped. Mine has helped there from a small drop. Which I am thankful for and can excuse the scratches in that case! Overall the Ipod Touch is a lot of fun. The only other thing is you may not need a 32GB, 8GB may be enough. Figure out how much you have on your corrent ipod and go from there if your close to the 8gb then go for the 32gb but if your not even close like 1-2gb 8gb may work fine and save you some money

I do have one complaint amed at Amazon very very bad shipping! My box was crutched. It should have been packed better. The case Apple puts it in helped protect it. for the price of expidited shipping they could have packed it better. Airbage do not cost that much there where missing a few. :(

I have used this product, and was very pleased with the job it did. I was influenced to purchase it by the reviews on-line. It performed well, I was amazed how much of the dirty water it sucked up. The carpet was practically dry when I finished, and didn’t take any time at all to dry completely. I would recommend this item.

I purchased the 310XT for my wife and trained with it. I subsequently purchased the 305 for myself (for when we do races together). For the money it’s a solid unit and really has most of the usable funcionality of the 310XT. It’s just not as waterproof and does not have the wireless upload. Really plugging the USB into the computer is not a big deal for half the cost of the 310.

I was very suspicious of this book, because I knew it was available online for download. I thought at first, why not just print it and read it. A friend of mine told me this is something completely different. And he was right. It was worth every penny (cent).

The book is a great introduction to Linux networking theory and practices. Although it’s lightweight in size, it makes it up with easy to read high quality content. I think even some experienced sysadmins might find a lot of interesting information inside.

The guide is very well written, with nice and self explaining graphics.

I have had this card for about 18 months without any trouble. I have used it to take HD movies, as a thumb drive in a reader, and hundreds of still pics. The Lock switch has been infallable; I set it before handing it to friends to offload files, so it has been tested a couple dozen times. It is also noticibly faster than my older 2Gb class 1 (?) and smaller cards, particularly in taking movies and large file transfers. I also enjoy reminding my technodweeb friends I paid half what they did for their “big-brand” cards.

Garmin Portable Friction Mount
We already owned one and needed a second mount for a second Nuvi GPS device. Works well, holds NUVI 650 GPS navigator securely, and it did not slide of a few different dashboards (we were traveling and used a few different rental cars). Highly recommend.

This item is wonderful for your GPS. It doesn’t slide on your dash and you just move off of your dash when you park and no one knows you have a GPS. With this item, you don’t have to put the sticker on your windshield either where anyone can see that you have a GPS. Love it.

The creators of the two Pratchett cartoons have done a splendid job of transferring Pratchett’s works to the screen.

Not only have they preserved the character of the original, but by adding original music, voice characterisation, and a lot of visual references to the Rock scene, they have, in some respects, enhanced it. For an example of what I mean, just watch and listen to Lias/Cliff the troll.

Read the book first, though.
Terry Pratchett s Discworld

The video quality of this production is excellent; however, the original quality of the subject matter is primitive. Most of this stuff is in black and white. Only the Hollies and the Yardbirds cuts are in color, and the Hollies’ cut is very grainy, for lack of a better word. The Yardbirds here are the “Little Games” Version. Keith Relf lip syncs “Heart Full of Soul” with Jimmy Page finger-syncing Jeff Beck’s guitar work. The end result is that it looks phony.

Biggest disappointment of this dvd: The Kinks live performance of “You really got me”. The video is mostly head shots, and does not show the band at work. Ray Davies’ head and face occupies most of the video. It would appear that the whole thing was probably shot with one or maybe two cameras.

Biggest Surprises: The Troggs music video, “Wild Thing”. It’s creative, and it holds up well. Gerry and the Pacemakers’ “How Do You Do It” is also a live performance worth watching, because the camera work is pretty good and it shows that the lead singer was also an exceptionally talented rhythm guitarist.

Most of the other stuff, like songs by the Animals, Joe Cocker and Peter and Gordon are lip-synced. It was difficult to call Procol Harum or Traffic – could be either live or pre-recorded. In particular, the video of Procol Harum was probably shot in existing light and it’s too dark to identify some members of the band other than Gary Booker.

My only other criticism is that there were too many needless still shots of historic people, place and things that took place during the the sixties. These still images didn’t add anything to the overall product and a good target for the fast-forward button on my remote.
