I wasn’t sure how it would feel to read a book without pages…but I love it. It’s much easier to hold a Kindle with one hand than it is a paperback. The device is very light and the screen is very easy to read. I read all Sunday afternoon in the bright sun by a pool – no problem. I also thought that the pause between clicking the “next page” button and the actual print appearing would bother me, but I got used to it in no time. The best feature is being able to shop for a new book anytime, anywhere. I highly recommend it!

Very nice addition to my garmin gps. Small enough to fit almost anywhere in your vehicle, yet big enough to firmly hold the unit.

I really enjoyed reading this book! I was surprised how many times I laughed out loud as I read the story of a man who found himself working in the circus. I highly suggest this book to those that just want to be told a story. No mystery, some romance and lots of laughs and thrills. I will read other books from this author!

What a disappointment – my 3-yr-old loves Blue’s Clues, and that’s what I meant to order for him. This is Blue’s Room, a completely different show with a big talking “Blue” puppet. My son cried when I turned it on and wanted to know where the real Blue’s Clues went. The episode of “Joe’s Clues” (which is similar to the normal Blue’s Clues) is OK, but for us it’s not worth the price of the DVD.

Decided to purchase a G-Shock after going through a few Timex Ironman models over the last few years, which never seemed to last that long (LCD display on one, watchband on another – which is integrated with the timepiece on that model and can’t be replaced, making the watch unwearable when the band breaks – and most recently, the stopwatch function intermittently stopping on another).
The Casio G-Shock line has a good reputation for durability, and this particular model (G7700-1) is a good watch at a good price, and I do like it. A couple of things to note, though, especially for those planning to use it during running/endurance workouts and considering a switch from the various Ironman models:
1)The button to illuminate the face, although marked with a cool “G”, is relatively difficult to depress – a bit too small and recessed. And when you do depress it, the face illuminates very briefly. This probably helps extend battery life, but for those who find themselves doing their workouts a lot in the dark, either in the early morning or evening, you will likely want to use the illumination function often enough to find it inconvenient, especially in comparison to the various Ironman models, which usually have larger buttons for this and stay illuminated a bit longer.
2) The interval timer function allows a cycle of two different intervals in sequence, but once set up, will only repeat the cycle 5 times. For those who like to use an interval timer for run/walk intervals, speed work, etc., this is simply not enough. I’ve taken to carrying one of my old Timex Ironman watches (the one with the broken band) in my pocket on longer runs or track workouts so I don’t have to constantly reset this function.
So, a good value, and a nicer watch to wear during the day than most digitals, but not as optimized for running/endurance workouts as one would hope.

I really liked how this worked; like most reviewers I didn’t think it would stay on the dashboard or allow me to move it around–but it did. However, after some time it loses flexibility and stops gripping–that is, you can put it on your dashboard but it’s just lying there–it no longer has much/any traction and will easily fall off. I’ve done some dangerous things as I’ve lunged to keep it from flying off–now I never accelerate rapidly or turn sharply because it will fly off. I also have to push it further back on the dash (to a flatter place) than I would like visually to keep it from falling off.

I’ve had it now about a year although it hasn’t been “working” correctly for months. I live in a very hot climate which perhaps plays a role but it’s only on the dash when I’m driving; I hide the Garmin at all other times. So its exposure to high heat isn’t that bad.

I’m now buying a new one–which I suppose gives a mixed message. $23 for 6 – 8 months? Not terrible but far from wonderful.
