Quiet courtroom mystery featuring a strong Bedelia in the lead as a judge, who is in an unhappy marriage and strikes up an affair with a librarian (Billy Wirth). gotta love this was sooo excited to see this. Madonna at her best (well in my opinion) and just pure 80’s fluff and fun.
Relive the past, love the music and enjoy!! I know I did and have introduced this to a whole new generation with much enjoyment.
Desperately Seeking Susan VHS
Saw this movie again for the first time in a long time and just loved it.
I won’t repeat what everyone else has said about Robert Preston, but will give a shout-out to the choreography, esp. in the Library scene. Watching the lines of male dancers trade off as Marian dances with each in turn is a miracle of choreography. I don’t know how they conceived it, much less pulled it off.
